The Boardwalk

In February 2015 planning consent was granted for the Boardwalk Scheme at Vauxhall Quay located within Sutton Harbour.

Consent for the scheme marks an important early milestone in the ‘Vision for Sutton Harbour’ initiative to establish Sutton Harbour, Plymouth as a recognised visitor destination of regional importance and national significance.

The Boardwalk project will see the creation of a new pedestrian route around the north of Sutton Harbour and the introduction of new restaurant and retail accommodation. It includes a decked walkway over the Harbour to link Guy’s Quay with Vauxhall Quay creating a continuous waterfront route.

Delivery of the scheme is expected by Summer 2017.
