Sutton Harbour Holdings Plc was successfully appointed as the preferred developer for a nine-acre mixed use scheme on part of the former HMS Osprey site at Portland, on land adjacent to the venue for the sailing events for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In October 2008 Sutton Harbour Hodings Plc signed a £4 million deal to build a multipurpose facility for the RYA (Royal Yachting Association).

The five storey building was completed in 2010.  It offers a reception area, meeting rooms, storage, a small retail unit, three floors of 24 en-suite bedrooms and a top floor clubroom, bar and dining area with views over the water.

As the hub of performance sailing for the RYA, it performed a crucial role in the run up to and during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
