Lunar Rise occupies a former brownfield site on the approach to Plymouth city centre and close to Sutton Harbour. It was a result of the Sutton Partnership between Sutton Harbour Holdings plc and Plymouth City Council.
It comprises 109 apartments of one and two bedroom units developed by Barratt Homes, over a mix of undercroft parking and 8,500 sq ft of commercial space in three units. The building ranges in height from four to ten storeys. Tru Gym currently and Cafe Kiss currently occupy two of the units with the third being currently available.
Lunar Rise adjoins a public piazza known as Penrose Yard offering a further 3,200 sq ft of ground floor commercial space and 35 residential apartments one block from Sutton Harbour. This development connects the harbour with Plymouth City Centre.
